Reduce a PDF for email

Common limits: Gmail 25 MB, Outlook.com 20 MB, corporate Exchange often 10 MB.

Three-step recipe

1. Compress the PDF — Ghostscript /ebook preset typically hits 40–70% shrink on scans and image-heavy docs.
2. Still too big? Split into parts and send in two emails.
3. Or extract just the text and paste it inline.
